I temporarily interupt my effort at getting my blog caught up with a post about something current. We went to the beach yesterday. We played on the beach but it was way to windy for me to take my camera down there. I tried a little experiment with my camera on these images. I set my ISO to its next to highest setting to see how much digital noise I would get (just photography jargon for ya', it just means the photo will have some little imperfections). I was surprised with the result. There is some noise but less than I expected with such a high setting. Just playing around and getting to know my camera even better.
We had a blast at the beach. Eating at Mo's, seeing the sealions. And of course saltwater taffy.

Ron entertained by some borderline inappropriate bumper stikers...I had to remind Ron that Rowdy can read.

I love Avery's face in that picture, how priceless. The saltwater taffy looks yummo, apparently Bodie thought the same thing. Glad you had a good time and were able to spend some time as a family.
You're making me miss the beach with this post! I don't know if we'll get a chance to get back there before the end of the summer.
Hey Julia - in answer to your comments: we're free Friday afternoon and possibly Saturday. I think it's still supposed to be hot, so it would be fun to get together at your house and swim or something. Next week's pretty flexible too in the afternoons. email me at bevansa@yahoo.com if you get a chance!
I love these pictures! I love the one of Ron reading the "naughty" bumper stickers. It makes me think of Larry he would do the same thing but then tell the boys to go away so they couldn't read them... Yeah right!
