I put one of these up on my photography blog, but not here. Rowdy turned 7 at the beginning of June. The one thing that I want to mention about him lately is that he is quite the comedian. He understands the structure of a good joke and is constantly coming up with little one liners and jokes. For example, he asked me "What do you call a fly who lands in butter?" He doesn't have any joke books so I can only assume he came up with it on his own. ANSWER: A Butterfly!
Also, on Sunday, in church, someone was telling a story about a little boy named Jake who chose to go fishing instead of clean up his room. His Mom told him to clean up his room and then he could go fishing. While the Jake was fishing the hook got caught in his back on one of his casts. Rowdy said "Yeah, the little boy wanted to go "fishing", not "Jaking"....Ha Ha Ha! His is just really clever and witty...just like his Dad.
