This is how I think Rowdy should still look...he isn't a little boy! And he certainly isn't in the first grade. For crying out loud! I have had a lump in my throat all morning...I didn't cry but I just am so overwhelmed that I am a mother of a first grader. Actually, I am jealous. I want to sit at little desk and color in my fresh new name tag and color in my school book full of little work pages. So, instead, I will be filling out my volunteer paperwork and background check paperwork so I can volunteer in his classroom. I was proud of him. He did great!
Learning some of the classroom rules! I hope he has a good year. Now I just need to remember to go pick him up...he will start riding the bus next week.

I cannot believe how much he looks like his little newborn self. Can you believe we have literally seen him and Madie grow up from such little ones. I hope he had a super duper day and I a great year. I hope your doing alright too, it's a hard transition. Great pictures.
I know how you feel. By baby started 3rd GRADE!!!! My other baby started 1st grade!!! Soooo sad! But ohhh so wonderfuL! Good luck!@
