I just did something really special with these shots that I took of Rowdy this last summer. I'll fill you in on what I did after I have some more details. But I really love the first image. I altered the sign above Rowdy's head to say his name and age. He thought it was pretty cool! I didn't really even notice the "goodyear" sign when I had the idea to do this...but how fitting!

I sure do love this young man to bits! He knows that I am sad that he is growing up so fast. I told him to turn off the oven buzzer the other day, if he could reach it...to my surprise it wasn't even a stretch for him. If you fast forward eight more years he will be asking me for the car keys. Yikers!

I think he and I are alike in some ways. He is an observer like me. He likes to take notes of a situation before diving right in and getting involved. He went to a birthday party recently and when I picked him up the Dad said I hope he had a good time because he didn't want to play any games or anything. I said no, that is just Rowdy, I'm sure he had fun.

He has his Dad's rubber face though.

I had to ask him the other day how to spell a word and he was proof reading my typing on the computer over my shoulder one day.

He blushes and smiles much like this when I ask him if there are any pretty girls in his class at school....

Rowdy James Mama loves you...

Such a cute young man. Still looks a bunch like the little angel I taught in nursery when he was two. Strange how they can get bigger and more mature and still have that sweet face of years ago.
He is so handsome Julia. We just have to get the kids together, it would be so fun to see how they have changed. I still can't believe he still has his baby teeth. Just wait when those big ones come, oh my it ages them like five years, so if you think he looks old now, just wait. Miss you guys.
Love the "Rowdy" route 8 sign, and the "goodyear" is perfect. Brilliant Julia, just brilliant.
