I think that Bodie looks like Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. Funny to note that all the photos above were taken at 3:33 and the one below was taken at 3:34.

When I took this photo I wasn't paying close attention to the butterfly and how damaged her little wings were. I think it is amazing that she was still thriving and going along looking for nectar as if nothing was wrong.

I am chopped liver when this women is around. To say that my children adore her doesn't do it justice. She is my right arm at times and I told her that I don't know what I would do without her...and she then told me that I just gave her the best Christmas present that I could have given.

One night we were have some pasta for dinner and needed to run into town at dinner time. Ron called me on the cell to ask me if I wanted any because Avery and Bodie wanted seconds and there wasn't going to be enough? They both love it and gobble it down every time I make it.

When Avery says words that start with "str" like strawberry, straw or straight she says Shrawberry, Shraw and Shraight. Funny little girl!

Three Hundred and Thirty...

You might remember when I did a post about the time that my husband jumped the scooter in to our pond? Well shortly after that stunt he strapped a boogie board to the bottom of an ATV to see if he could skip, skid or hydroplane across the ditch between our fields. Well he did...it made it across 5 or 6 times and the ATV still runs, so that is good! I'm glad he were his swim trunks since he was going boogie boarding, sort of?

Three Hundred and Twenty Nine...

Bodie LOVES to draw and for a little guy his is very good. These are old photos but he currently loves to draw "shapes" as we call them. He will draw a curved line, pull it around and close it, like making the letter "O"....should a two year old be able to do that?

Three Hundred and Twenty Eight...

We took the kids to Hoo Doo to go tubing. By the time I had a moment to take the camera out, it was snowing so hard and I couldn't even take a picture because it was just to wet. The kids had a good time. The tubes were fun but the snow was the highlight and they had a blast just playing in the snow.

The only downer of the day was forgetting Bodie's snow pants at home. I was so mad at myself for not triple checking they were with all the other snow gear that we had packed. He did great dispite the fact he was just wearing a pj bottoms and a pair of sweat pants over them. In fact he didn't want to get out of the snow when it was finally time to get into the truck.

Three Hundred and Twenty Seven...

One of the hot Christmas gifts this year was Hot Wheel tracks that Rowdy got from Santa. I love that the toys I played with as a kid are still popular. Rowdy loves his hotwheels and Bodie is right there behind him. I am going to have to figure out a way to label Bodie's and Rowdy's because they have started to argue about who's are who's. When they aren't fighting over them they are pretty cute playing together with them.

Do you see anything missing from this photo? She is officially on two wheels! Her bike is a little bit too small for her, but she has a birthday coming up. She does her best to keep up with Rowdy and they race quite a bit. Another popular thing around here these days is GUM! The kids are constantly bugging me for a piece.

Three Hundred and Twenty...

Right before the start of the school year we went down to the river near our house for a church activity. It was such a nice night. We played in the river and then went up to the campfire for songs and s'mores. Although it was still summer the water was cool and Rowdy had to gear up to bob under the water. Avery loved it!

The trip is not complete without a trip to Shave Ice. So yummy! Bodie was funny when we were waiting for our order. The girl handed Avery and Rowdy their Shave Ice and Bodie put his little cup in the air and said "Me!"
